At QA Mentor, we believe in rewarding and recognizing our valued team members. We understand that when any of us feel appreciated and know that our hard efforts are acknowledged, then we’re happier at work and subsequently our work ethic increases. It’s no secret that companies who recognize employees in an effective way have a lower turnover rate, higher quality results, and increased overall morale.
To that end, we want to make sure that all of our team members know they are appreciated and that their excellent efforts are celebrated by the company. In doing so, we hope to inspire them to achieve even more and ignite friendly competition while increasing positive team bonds.
Each month, we post an Employee Spot Award that highlights an individual who went above and beyond for the team, the company, or a client. Our annual New Employee Reward helps bring into the fold a newcomer, give them a more in-depth introduction, and thoroughly engage them with their team members. Each year we offer a Best Team Reward for the team that out-performed all others by handling more projects, finding the most defects, or any other significant impact measurement that produced a positive result for the company.
The Best Defect Competition is where strange or unusual defects are submitted by anyone and judged by everyone for being the most interesting defect found in the time frame, be it a month, a quarter, or the year. Last, we have our Defect Champion Reward that is given to the individual that found the most defects in the entire year.
We perform a great many services here at QA Mentor, so we also encourage our team members to come up with other recognition ideas, rewards, or contests that they feel would help foster the community atmosphere and provide additional, much-deserved recognition.
